ARTIST: "Portsea is on the Mornington Peninsular south of Melbourne in Australia. To me it is a strange place. Here at the tip of the peninsular you have the beautiful still blue tranquil waters of Port Philip Bay on one side and a rugged seaward coast on the other. If this were my home town of Perth in WA, Portsea would be packed with ostentatious wealth, great mansions of the multi billionaires, but in Portsea, wealth is hidden and the village itself is quite run down in appearance. It very charming as the warmth of a summer's evening reflects off the walls of the Portsea Milkbar."
