The sweetest smile nude painting

The model is my wife Waree. I entered this painting into the Mundaring Open Art Acquisition Exhibition but it was rejected on the grounds that it is pornographic. I don't think its pornographic, what do you think? I love painting nudes. Not arty gestural nudes but solid real nudes that celebrate the beauty of the female body. Almost tactile, the skin and the silk drape. It takes a lot of work, but in the end she almost comes alive. The artist’s dream, to turn coloured paint and paper into a real warm person. Sensuous and patterned.
