I entered this painting into the Mundaring Open Art Acquisition Exhibition but it was rejected on the grounds that it is pornographic. I dont think its pornographic, what do you think? Not arty gestural nudes but solid real nudes that celebrate the beauty of the female body. Almost tactile, the skin and the silk drape..It takes a lot of work, but in the end she almost comes alive. The artist’s dream, to turn coloured paint and paper into a real warm person. Sensuous and patterned.
