Strangely enough I just heard of these tree grasses for the first time one hour ago here in the UK where they are making an appearance at this year's Chelsea Flower show - and yes the politically correct brigade pointed out the inappropriatness of their colloquial name. I enjoy the controlled textures you used here and the limited colour range you have chosen. The difference in scale of the marks you made gives an impressive suggestion of distance too.
