ARTIST: "The Royal Freshwater Yacht Club down in Peppermint Grove must be one of the most frequently painted views of my home town of Perth in Western Australia. I have painted it many times. Somehow in this painting the sheer exuberance of the painting process took over and it became a work full of colour and marks."
